"No honest poet can ever feel quite sure of the permanent value of what he has written. He may have wasted his time and messed up his life for nothing," says TS Elliot. But I'd have it no other way - better the life written than the life left blank.

Writer's High

BLOGSPORT. Writing this blog is like running a marathon through a canyon where thoughts ricochet off its walls and reverberate back as a thunder of words smiting the runner to a new level of writer's high.

See the Here and Now in a Pose of a Cat at Rest

A cat does not have to have a reason to live. It just IS. Now, that's something I can learn.

Tsamrotul Jannah: mean??? a cat does not have reason to live??why??

Zaharan Razak: Why must a cat have a reason? It just lives. In the here and now. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not yet. If you do not live in the here and now that means you are forever living on credit ... berhutang ... to pay off yesterday's regret and to put aside for tomorrow's fear ... this is a mind trap and a time warp.

Living for a reason means we are a pawn to the reason, we do not have an independent existence but forever be a shadow chasing something that is always just beyond our grasp reducing us to a squirming jelly of hopes and wishes for something up there, out there, and missing out on the reality of the here and now causing us not to focus on the facts of the case facing us, leading to many erroneous perceptions, making us stand back on prejudices and that is the crux of the world's problems.
